Climate Change presents Calgary with both existential threats and once-in-a-generation opportunities. With council’s November 2021 declaration of a climate emergency and commitment to net-zero by 2050 it is crucial that Calgary’s upcoming Climate Strategy reflects the urgency of the crisis and opportunity we face. The upcoming decisions in the four year budget make getting our direction on climate action even more urgent.
